Panembahan Senopati or Danang Sutawijaya was the founder and first king of the Islamic Mataram Kingdom in 1586 with the title Panembahan Senapati Ing Alaga Sayidin Panatagama. Panembahan Senopati brought down the kings of the Sultanate of Yogyakarta Hadiningrat Palace, Surakarta Kasunanan Palace, Mangkunegaran Temple/Duchy, and Pakualaman Temple/Duchy which those are the greatest Islamic and Javaness kingdom in Indonesia.
The Panembahan Senopati Descendants Association Foundation currently has an Overseas Regional Coordinator which is chaired by Mrs. R.Ngt. Hj. Hendri Widya Liring Kenya.
The Panembahan Senopati Descendants Association Foundation is an association to gather the descendants of Panembahan Senopati living abroad around the world, many of them are not familiar yet with this Association Foundation because it is just recently established
The Panembahan Senopati Descendants Association Foundation was establised in Yogyakarta on April 19, 2022. It was founded by 9 founders and has formed a management structure in The Central at Yogyakarta, 9 small regional coordinators (KORWIL) and several regional coordinators (KORDA), which is spread over the islands of Sumatra, Java, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Bali, NTB, NTT, Maluku and Papua.
The Central management, KORWIL dan KORDA were inaugurated on July 30, 2022. The inaguration was attended by representatives of the Deputy Governor of Yogyakarta’s Special Region In his speech, he expressed about high enthusiasme for gathering descendants of Panembahan Senopati around the world to get along and get sense of belonging, so that communication between descendants is not interrupted (kepaten obor- In the javanese proverb “death torch” has a further meaning, namely: the breakdown of communication between members of a large family. This is due to the presence of family members living overseas due to work or marrying a partner from outside the area .
The Panembahan Senopati Descendants Association Foundation is an association to gather the descendants of Panembahan Senopati who are living abroad around the world and many of them are not familiar yet with The Panembahan Senopati Descendants Association Foundation because it is recently been established.
This goal of course requires extra work for the Board of the Foreign KORWIL Patrap Senopati to gather Panembahan Senopati’s descendants in other parts of the world, especially overseas. This is because regional and time challenges are an encouragement to continue to flap their wings.
